Summer Time Adulting… To Drink or Not To Drink?


DRINK…It’s Healthy…Kinda

There are only a hand full of “adult beverages” out there that you can drink and not feel terribly guilty about. I strongly believe if fruit or vegetables are involved in my drink in some form or fashion, then it cancels out the alcohol all together…RIGHT?

Now being said, I am a seemingly intelegant human, I know this is not the actual case. However, it does make me feel slightly better about the amount of alcohol (fruits and vegetables) I consume during the Summer months.

It simply must be healthy for you!

Here are the top 5 “healthy” adult beverages I recommend for 2017.


Cranberry Vodka with a Citrus Twist
1 Part Vodka
3 Parts Cranberry Juice
Citrus Twist – Orange, Lemon, Lime

Classic Bloody Mary

2oz Vodka
4oz Tomato Juice or V8
2 dashes of Tabasco
2 dashes of Worcestershire Sauce
1 pinch Celery Salt
1 pinch Ground Black Pepper
1 pinch Cyan Pepper
1 Celery stalk

Pineapple Moscato Sangria
2 parts Pineapple Juice
2 parts Moscato
Garnish with: Strawberry, Orange slice & Cherry

Limeade Spritzer
1 bottle Moscato
1 bottle Sprite
1 frozen Limeade Concentrate by Minute Made
1 whole lime cut into slices

Mango Tequila Sunrise
3oz Orange Juice
2oz Tequila
1oz Mango puree
.5oz Spiced rum
.5oz Grenadine
Garnish with: Orange slice & Cherry
